About the role#
Passionately Pets is looking for a Midday Dog Walker to join our team in Alexandria. This is a part-time, supplemental income position that requires you to spend time outdoors and interact with local pets. You will be responsible for visiting client homes and ensuring their animals are cared for while owners are away.
What you'll do#
- Visit client homes to spend time with their pets.
- Walk and feed pets according to instructions.
- Check water supplies and refill them as needed.
- Patrol homes to spot any accidents or damage.
- Clean up any messes found in the home.
- Maintain regular communication with management.
What you'll need#
- Availability for at least 2 consecutive hours between 10AM and 3PM, Monday through Friday.
- A commitment to the role for at least 6 months.
- Your own reliable transportation and a smartphone with an active data plan.
- Ability to walk and drive in all weather conditions.
- Comfort working with both small and large animals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage your own schedule.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Residence within 5 miles of 22301 is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Alexandria, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $24 to $28 per hour plus tips, paid on a per-visit basis.
