About the role#
We are hiring Midday Dog Walkers to join our local pet sitting and dog walking team. This is a part-time, supplemental income position. You will spend your time outdoors and interacting with local pets.
What you'll do#
- Visit client homes to spend time with their pets for 15 to 30 minutes per visit.
- Walk and feed pets according to client requests.
- Ensure pets have a clean and ample supply of water.
- Inspect homes for any accidents or damage caused by pets.
- Clean up any messes discovered during your visit.
- Maintain regular communication with management.
What you'll need#
- Availability for at least 2 consecutive hours between 10AM and 3PM, Monday through Friday.
- A commitment of at least 6 months.
- Your own reliable transportation and a smartphone with an active data plan.
- Ability to walk and drive in all weather conditions.
- Comfort working with both small and large animals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Residence within 5 miles of 22301 is preferred.

- Location: Alexandria, Virginia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $24 to $28 per hour plus tips, paid per visit.
