About the role#
Passero Associates is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op or Intern for our Rochester office. This is a paid, full-time position that offers exposure to a range of site development projects. You will work alongside architects, engineers, surveyors, and application developers on projects spanning the residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional sectors. You will also have the opportunity to work with technology such as drones, 3D visualization, and virtual reality.
What you'll do#
- Design site development for commercial, residential, industrial, and energy projects.
- Prepare engineering, traffic, and SWPPP reports and calculations.
- Conduct field inspections and write reports.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BS degree program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Availability starting immediately or through 2027.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, with Civil 3D skills preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in civil engineering is a plus.
