About the role#
Otak is hiring Civil Design Interns for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site. You will work within our Transportation and Infrastructure departments to support various projects including municipal roadways, bridges, site development, and environmental restoration. This role offers hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with research, data collection, and analysis.
- Prepare project materials, plans, drawings, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain project documentation and assist with project coordination.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with professionals across different disciplines.
- Assist with site visits, fieldwork, and other project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
- A foundational understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- An interest in professional development and community involvement.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
