About the role#
As a Civil Design Intern, you will join our team in Redmond to gain hands-on engineering experience. You will work on various projects including municipal roadways, transit infrastructure, site development, and water resources. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with research, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of plans, drawings, reports, and presentations.
- Help maintain project documentation and coordinate information.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate across disciplines.
- Assist with site visits and fieldwork.
- Apply your classroom learning to practical engineering challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student in Civil Engineering.
- A foundational understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and interest in professional development.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
