About the role#
Passero Associates is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op or Intern for our Rochester office. You will work with architects, engineers, surveyors, and application developers on a variety of projects. These include commercial, residential, municipal, and institutional sites. You will gain hands-on experience by using tools like 3D visualization, virtual reality, and drones.
What you'll do#
- Design site developments for commercial, residential, industrial, and energy projects.
- Prepare engineering, traffic, and SWPPP reports.
- Perform engineering calculations.
- Conduct field inspections and write the corresponding reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience with Civil 3D is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Prior co-op or internship experience in civil engineering is a plus.

- This is an on-site position located in Rochester, New York.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
