About the role#
Parkson Group is looking for an IT Intern to join the team in Golden, Colorado. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term. You will work on-site to support the IT Helpdesk and assist customers with hardware and software issues. This role requires a detail-oriented person who can work alongside the Helpdesk Technician to keep office systems running.
What you'll do#
- Install, configure, upgrade, and restore PCs and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot computer problems and provide technical support for incoming queries.
- Respond to requests in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain the daily performance of computer systems.
- Manage the inventory of production systems, spare computers, and accessories.
- Document all incidents and issues in the helpdesk system.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity, or current enrollment in a related degree or certification program.
- Previous experience working in a diverse office environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical ability and the capacity to solve problems while multitasking.
- Knowledge of hardware and software maintenance and testing.
