About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Process Improvement department at our Pine Mountain site. You will work on real business priorities, contribute to projects, and collaborate with teams across the organization. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily activities and key projects in the Process Improvement area.
- Conduct research, data review, and analysis to help guide business decisions.
- Assist in creating reports, process documentation, and presentations.
- Work alongside team members and stakeholders to identify efficiency gains.
- Present your project findings and recommendations to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically with advanced Excel capabilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Exposure to tools like DMAIC, 5S, Power BI, or Root Cause Analysis is helpful but not required.
