About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Process Improvement department. You will contribute to real business priorities by managing a specific manufacturing project. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations and key projects in Process Improvement.
- Manage a manufacturing project from start to finish.
- Use continuous improvement techniques to determine solutions.
- Identify unique approaches to problem solving.
- Work with a diverse team to implement project improvements.
- Communicate project status to individuals and groups.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS degree program, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to attend the Intern Leadership Forum and the final presentation review in Spartanburg, SC.
