About the role#
The Johnston Plant Intern will work within the Process Improvement Department to support daily operations and key business projects. This is a full-time, paid internship running for 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to projects that impact business priorities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support daily activities and specific projects within the Process Improvement Department.
- Conduct research, data reviews, and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Create reports, presentations, and process documentation.
- Identify specific opportunities to improve processes or increase efficiency.
- Present your findings, results, and recommendations to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a BS Engineering degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Johnston, South Carolina.
- The role is full-time at 40 hours per week.
