About the role#
This 13-week summer internship offers hands-on experience across the Design, Production, Customer Service, and Sales departments. You will work with a mentor to build foundational sales knowledge and professional skills. The program includes a visit to the corporate office in Lake Forest, Illinois, to meet with leadership and network with other interns. Successful completion of the program may lead to an offer for a full-time position in the rotational sales development program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Work on special projects across Design, Production, Customer Service, and Sales.
- Learn the business, industry, and sales processes at PCA.
- Build core sales skills including communication, time management, and problem-solving.
- Assist with customer communication, such as handling inquiries, new items, lead follow-up, and resolving complaints.
- Build a prospect list and join experienced sales representatives on customer visits.
- Present a final project to the management team and your fellow interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Completion of your freshman year.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Ability to work in the US on a full-time basis.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort engaging with mentors, team members, and customers.
- Maturity and a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or customer inquiries at the same time.
- Ability to travel.

- Location: Mooresville, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on academic year.
