About the role#
Student Government Association Leaders serve the Pace University community by coordinating student governance and representing the student body. This role is a commitment for the full academic year, starting in the Fall 2026 term. Participants receive a stipend based on the successful completion of duties and an evaluation by the Student Engagement Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Meet once per week during the fall and spring academic semesters.
- Provide weekly updates at each SGA General Meeting.
- Act as the coordinating agent for all standing and ad-hoc committees.
- Appoint members of the SGA Assembly through a majority vote.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times when handling student and university information.
- Participate in the planning and execution of all SGA events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Pace University.
- Ability to fulfill at least three office hours per week in the SGA office.
- Attendance at one monthly E-board meeting and all E-board retreats.
- Attendance at all Student Organization meetings, unless excused by the Student Engagement Advisor.
- Strong interest in fields such as Political Science, Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, or Sociology.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 35 hours per week during academic breaks.
