About the role#
The Department of Economics at Pace University is hiring a Student Research Assistant to support faculty research initiatives and department projects. This is a paid, on-site position based in New York. The schedule is flexible between Monday and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and will be determined with your supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Summarize academic articles as assigned.
- Collect data, literature, and other information for research projects.
- Run regressions and statistical models using R or Stata.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of R, Stata, or Python.
- Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
