About the role#
The Law School Admissions department at Pace University is looking for a Student Assistant to provide administrative support. You will help the office run smoothly by handling daily inquiries, assisting visitors, and completing various projects as assigned.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and answer questions about department procedures.
- Provide campus tours.
- Manage phone and email inquiries, taking detailed messages for staff.
- Perform clerical tasks like filing, photocopying, shredding, and sending faxes.
- Assist with specific department projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information discreetly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability and patience when working with visitors.
- Previous office experience is helpful but not required.

- This position is located in White Plains, New York.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a paid position for students.
- Schedules are determined with your supervisor, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester and 35 hours during breaks.
