About the role#
This summer internship is designed for a current post-secondary student to gain hands-on experience in a professional software development environment. Working within the custom software department, you will support the development and maintenance of high-quality solutions for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The internship runs from May through August 2026.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions using .NET, C#, and modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Review peer code to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge or coursework experience with Microsoft .NET Framework.NET Core, and C#.
- Familiarity with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Understanding of Azure, API development, CI/CD environments, and Microsoft SQL Server (academic exposure is acceptable).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
