About the role#
ONEOK offers a summer internship for students pursuing a career in accounting. You will work at our corporate office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, alongside experienced finance professionals. This role provides hands-on experience with projects that support financial reporting, compliance, and business decision-making. You will engage with cross-functional teams and gain insight into the energy industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing reports and analyzing financial data.
- Learn about regulatory and compliance components of our operations.
- Participate in the development of presentations and training materials.
- Contribute to financial reporting and business decision-making processes.
- Engage with cross-functional teams on real business priorities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have already obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Capability to apply basic arithmetic and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to take initiative.
