About the role#
Join ONEOK as an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2026 term. Based in our Dallas, Texas office, this full-time, on-site internship provides hands-on experience in the energy industry. You will work alongside accounting and finance professionals to support financial reporting, compliance, and business decision-making. This role is designed to build the foundation for your career through mentorship and exposure to operational and technical components of our business.
What you'll do#
- Assist with a variety of tasks including job shadowing and administrative duties.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data.
- Learn about operational, technical, and regulatory components of the business.
- Help develop presentations and training materials.
- Participate in team knowledge sharing.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, currently in progress or already obtained.
- The ability to apply basic arithmetic or advanced math, including algebra and statistical methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to exchange information effectively.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Initiative, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn.
