About the role#
ONEOK offers a summer internship program for engineering students at our corporate office in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on projects that support our operations and long-term strategy. You will collaborate with teams, connect with business leaders, and gain insight into career pathways within the energy industry.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced professionals to learn about daily operations.
- Analyze data and prepare reports.
- Learn about compliance, regulatory, and technical components of our business.
- Develop presentations and participate in knowledge sharing.
- Engage in professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have already obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to apply basic arithmetic or advanced math, such as algebra and statistical methods.
- Strong communication skills to exchange written and verbal information.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work well in teams.
- A positive attitude, initiative, and an eagerness to learn.
