About the role#
Join ONEOK as an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Houston or Mont Belvieu, Texas. You will work alongside experienced engineers and professionals, gaining hands-on experience by contributing to real business priorities and long-term operations. This role offers exposure to the energy industry through mentorship and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced professionals to learn about operational, technical, and business-related components.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support engineering functions.
- Assist with the development of presentations and training materials.
- Support knowledge sharing and other administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to apply basic and advanced mathematical skills, including algebra and statistics.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to be adaptable.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team environment.
