About the role#
OneMain Financial is hiring for a 10-week paid Technology Internship. This program offers hands-on experience in consumer finance technology. You will work alongside professionals in areas such as Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Architecture, and Cloud Infrastructure. You will receive formal and informal training, participate in team-based projects, and gain exposure to senior technology leaders.
What you'll do#
- Apprentice as a Cyber Engineer, Data Engineer, Network Engineer, Infrastructure/Platform Engineer, Technology Operations Analyst, or Software Developer.
- Develop technical solutions to address complex business problems.
- Contribute to the team culture by sharing knowledge and collaborating on projects.
- Join team meetings to provide insights and help improve processes.
What you'll need#
- You are a current undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Your expected graduation date is between Winter 2025 and Summer 2026.
- You have strong communication skills and can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- You demonstrate an ability to develop creative solutions for data-driven problems.
- You have experience working collaboratively on a team, whether in academic, athletic, volunteer, or professional settings.
