About the role#
Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Intern for our Scottsdale location. This role involves supporting our pharmacy team in daily operations, patient communication, and medication management. You will work less than 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling options available.
What you'll do#
- Greet patients and health care providers over the phone and respond to their inquiries.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by tracking stock levels and ordering necessary supplies.
- Prepare labels, calculate medication quantities, and organize orders for the pharmacist.
- Handle insurance claims, resolve rejections, and assist with prior authorizations.
- Provide counseling regarding the Celgene REMS program.
- Coordinate medication refill deliveries with patients and physician offices.
- Assist patients with co-payments and financial assistance programs.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program at an accredited university.
- A valid Pharmacy Intern license or permit for the state of New York.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, general pharmacy terms, and brand or generic drug names.
- Two years of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.

- Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on your completed years of pharmacy school.
