About the role#
As a mechanical engineering intern at Olsson, you will perform hands-on, real-world engineering work. This role is based in our Oklahoma City office and provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff on projects for commercial developments, hospitals, laboratories, and military facilities. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to create construction documents and specifications.
- Perform mechanical design services, including HVAC and plumbing design.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to complete mechanical modeling.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for mechanical or architectural engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, along with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred.
