About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Building Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Miami, Florida office.
What you'll do#
You will gain exposure to the core aspects of mechanical engineering within our project teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with design layouts for ductwork, piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Preparing engineering calculations, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Participating in site visits, field verification, and the preparation of construction administration documents.
- Attending project meetings.
- Supporting project managers with assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience entering data into spreadsheets or databases is preferred.

- This is a paid, on-site, part-time internship.
