About the role#
As a summer 2027 engineering intern with our Water Resources team, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real client projects. You will collaborate with engineers on tasks related to stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and erosion control. This internship is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management.
- Use AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro to provide project designs.
- Conduct technical research and analysis while drafting technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to assist with field observations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for engineering, with a preference for civil engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail alongside clear problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
