About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern with the Substation and Power Generation team, you will gain hands-on experience in power delivery engineering. You will work on real-world projects that connect your classroom studies to professional practice. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAD design processes and follow industry standards.
- Analyze physical arrangement and protection for medium, high, and extra high voltage systems.
- Assist with the development of protection schemes and control wiring.
- Conduct electrical fault force analysis.
- Perform load flow and grounding safety studies.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
- High attention to detail.
