About the role#
As an intern on the Traffic & Technology team, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom learning to real-world engineering. You will contribute to projects involving traffic management and signal systems while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Create design plans using CAD software.
- Work on projects involving signals, roundabouts, pavement marking, signing, and temporary traffic control.
- Assist with traffic operations, signal timings, and safety or pedestrian circulation studies.
- Travel to job sites to conduct field observations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship.
- Positions are available in Oklahoma City, OK and Tulsa, OK.
- This role follows a rolling term.
