About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern with the Substation and Power Generation team, you will gain hands-on experience in power delivery engineering. You will work on real-world projects that connect your academic studies to professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAD design processes and follow technical standards.
- Analyze physical arrangement and protection for medium, high, and extra high voltage systems.
- Assist with substation structure and foundation design.
- Interpret geotechnical information for project use.
- Perform equipment mounting, steel member analysis, and steel node analysis.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong math and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
