About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern, you will join our team to work on federal infrastructure site design. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our engineers on projects for military bases, VA campuses, and other government facilities. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with conventional civil design tasks including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout.
- Prepare engineering calculations for project teams.
- Write technical reports.
- Produce construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
