About the role#
Oklahoma AgCredit offers a student board member position to help you gain leadership experience in corporate agricultural finance. You will observe board functions and build decision-making skills within an agricultural cooperative. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Attend monthly board meetings from October 2026 through April 2027.
- Engage with Oklahoma AgCredit staff and special guests during one-hour sessions.
- Work on an assigned project throughout the term.
- Present your final project to the Oklahoma AgCredit Board of Directors in April.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior in the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture.
- Majors in Agriculture, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- An interest in staying involved in agriculture after graduation.
- A farm background is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at the Oklahoma AgCredit Stillwater branch.
- The term runs from Fall 2026 through Winter 2027.
- You will receive a $60 honorarium for each meeting attended.
