About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience across the full spectrum of Human Resources. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our employees and organizational goals. This position is designed to continue through your graduation, providing a consistent way to build skills and explore different career paths within the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment tasks, such as screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of staff members.
- Maintain and update employee records with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
- Help with employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
- Research HR best practices and compliance topics.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Availability to work between 10 and 20 hours per week.
- Ability to schedule hours Monday through Thursday during business hours.
- Note that you cannot hold any other OSUP, Ohio State University, or student employment position while in this role.

- The pay rate is $14.50 per hour.
