About the role#
This is a paid internship for students currently pursuing a career in nursing. You will work on-site at Odessa Regional Medical Center in a Med/Surg setting. This position is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
You will support the nursing team by assisting patients with their daily activities. Your work involves performing various patient care tasks and keeping the environment safe and clean. You will complete all assigned duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and within your defined scope of practice.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Commitment to maintaining the education requirements of your nursing program
- No prior experience is required
