About the role#
NVR Mortgage offers a summer internship program designed to provide hands on experience in the mortgage process. You will work with professionals to support customers of Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes. This role involves learning about mortgage regulations, processing, and closing while gaining exposure to the broader homebuilding industry.
What you'll do#
- Pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Process mortgage files to obtain approval.
- Conduct mortgage closings.
- Learn about the homebuilding industry and how NVR Mortgage supports it.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to see how homes are delivered.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Strong communication skills.
- A driven, self-motivated approach with past leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
