About the role#
The Quality Engineering Internship offers a 12-week, full-time opportunity to gain experience within a global manufacturing organization. You will support daily plant quality operations, contribute to process improvements, and work alongside cross-functional teams to maintain high product standards.
What you'll do#
- Support the production of high-quality products by improving processes and systems.
- Investigate and resolve quality defects with cross-functional teams.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and recommendations.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions using tools such as 8D and 7-step processes.
- Use statistical analysis software to develop and interpret quality metrics.
- Conduct quality planning activities, including quality control plan development and execution.
- Perform measurement system analysis and process capability studies (Cp, Cpk).
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and mistake proofing.
- Develop and maintain process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to complete a 12-week full-time internship from May/June to August 2027.
- Current legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- A willingness to learn and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.

- Compensation: This position is paid at $22 per hour.
