About the role#
This Electrical/Controls Engineering Co-Op position is based in Anoka, Minnesota. It is a full-time, paid role that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical and controls engineering projects. You will work within a team environment, receiving mentorship from senior leaders and participating in professional development activities.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical training to specific engineering projects.
- Perform calculations and analysis for component selection.
- Define product characteristics to ensure they meet specifications.
- Establish and coordinate development schedules.
- Assist the materials department with supplier selection.
- Support sales and service field activities.
- Comply with company performance and conduct policies.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Basic knowledge in electronics, electrical engineering, analog power management, and Digital Signal Processors.
- Familiarity with processor controlled data acquisition, device control, and PCB layout systems like PADS.
- Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical journals, and government regulations.
- Strong logic and reasoning skills to identify technical strengths and weaknesses.
- Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence.
