    About the role#

    The Electrical Engineering Co-Op program is a structured, rotational experience designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical work. You will rotate through departments including Product Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Labs and Compliance. This program engages you in the full engineering lifecycle, from initial development and testing to final production. You will be assigned projects based on your capabilities and are expected to champion these tasks to completion.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform engineering calculations to analyze product designs and assist with technical issues related to system design and compliance.
    • Use 2D and 3D modeling software to create and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, specifications, and assembly prints.
    • Participate in site visits, work with end-user customers, and present in design review meetings.
    • Fabricate and evaluate product concepts while utilizing analytical tools like Finite Element Analysis (ABAQUS) and Matlab.
    • Manage routing and BOM changes for products manufactured on-site.
    • Assist with capital equipment purchases, maintenance, and tooling improvements.
    • Support process improvement projects, including time studies and tooling design, while applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
    • Develop test plans, design test fixturing, and conduct validation testing to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
    • Collaborate with the Quality department to update technical information and inspection data.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time or part-time student at an accredited college or university.
    • Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in engineering, with an electrical engineering focus preferred.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to complete a full-time co-op from January through June 2027.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.

    • This position is based on-site in Solon, Ohio.
    • The role is full-time for the Winter 2027 term.
    • This is a paid position.
