About the role#
URBN is looking for an Information Security Intern to join our team at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. You will work alongside professionals to support cyber resiliency, incident response, and technical implementation. This is a paid, full-time summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience within our security operations.
What you'll do#
- Monitor our computing environment to identify potential security risks and anomalies.
- Sift through large data sets to create clear, actionable summaries and identify trends.
- Prepare systems and process documentation, including graphics and flowchart narration.
- Maintain a solid awareness of information security principles.
- Follow up on assigned tasks with persistence and diligence.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of operating systems, cloud environments, networks, firewalls, databases, and web applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT standards, OWASP, CVE, and various security frameworks is a plus.

- This role is based on-site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
