About the role#
We are looking for a Styling Intern to join the Free People team for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports our e-commerce photo and video shoots by assisting with on-figure and product styling for apparel, accessories, and beauty items. You will work directly in the photo studio alongside our styling team and collaborate with the photography and merchandising departments.
What you'll do#
- Prepare samples before each shoot by steaming, hanging, and organizing items.
- Lay out accessories and shoes to ensure the set is ready for the day.
- Assist the lead stylist in dressing models for each look.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and keep the styling wardrobe area organized.
- Create trend presentations to share with the team.
- Research styling techniques and fashion trends to implement on set.
- Record cross-sell information for website data entry.
What you'll need#

- A genuine passion for on-figure styling and current fashion trends.
- Creative innovation and a strong work ethic.
- Keen attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a studio environment.
- You must submit a concept board as part of your application. This should be an 8.5 x 11 PDF featuring images that represent your creative direction for the brand, including 1-2 influencers you believe fit the brand.

- This internship is based on-site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The position is paid and full-time for the Fall 2026 term.
- We welcome students from majors including Art, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Media Studies, and Architecture.
