About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. You will receive guidance and a framework to develop your own business while gaining access to the resources of a Fortune 500 company. This program is designed to help you develop professional skills and build a network while you work toward your degree.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your business and client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call on potential clients to understand their financial goals.
- Prepare financial plans and offer recommendations.
- Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
- Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain state licensing for Life, Accident, and Health insurance.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have entrepreneurial ambitions and an interest in sales.
- You have a strong interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- You possess business savvy and a desire to improve your critical thinking skills.
- You have excellent time-management skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics are relevant to this role.
