About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring a Systems Security Engineering Intern to join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Roy, Utah. You will work on-site for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
- Analyze cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness for total systems.
- Convert customer and product requirements into complete systems solutions while managing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Conduct functional and timeline analyses, trade studies, and interface definition studies to translate requirements into hardware and software specifications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, with continued enrollment in Fall 2027.
- A major in Cybersecurity Information Assurance, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
