This position will be located at our Roy, UT facility.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).Basic QualificationsA candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.Be majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace EngineeringBe available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)Intern Pay Range:Bachelors: $23.00 - $29.00 per hourMasters: $32.75 to $35.50 per hourAt Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.campusjobsThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
