About the role#
Join Nokia as an Operations Analytics Co-op/Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting business operations, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. You will work with Power BI, Excel, and AI-based solutions to deliver insights that drive operational efficiency and business performance. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day operational activities and process optimization initiatives.
- Analyze operational and business data using Excel and Power BI to develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Design and develop demand planning reports using Power BI, Excel, and Power Automate to support staffing forecasts and resource planning.
- Build automated reporting solutions that provide actionable insights.
- Assist in developing and applying AI-based solutions for data analysis, automation, forecasting, and operational optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams on data-driven projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and executive summaries to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of operational data across systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Experience using Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, or data visualization.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or similar data analysis and automation tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with operational processes, workflows, Power Automate, forecasting, or demand planning is a plus.
- Prior internship, co-op, academic project, or consulting experience related to operations, analytics, or process improvement.
