About the role#
The Purchasing Strategy team supports various activities across Nissan Purchasing. This includes training, supplier relations, strategic improvements, and project coordination. You will gain exposure to Purchasing operations and contribute to projects that impact teams across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of Purchasing training programs.
- Coordinate with Purchasing stakeholders to develop new training content and update existing materials.
- Maintain training schedules and support the administration of training resources within SharePoint.
- Identify process gaps and help create or update procedural documentation for the Procedure SharePoint project.
- Collaborate with Purchasing teams on supplier relations initiatives, communication projects, and strategic improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Applied Engineering, Data Management, Contracting, Pre-Law, or a related field.
- Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A coachable attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
