About the role#
As a Financial AI Engineering Intern at Nissan Extended Services North America, you will work at the intersection of finance, business operations, and artificial intelligence. You will partner with stakeholders to analyze existing processes, identify automation opportunities, and build AI-driven tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Document and analyze current operational processes to find areas for automation and improvement.
- Develop AI-driven solutions to reduce manual tasks and streamline daily operations.
- Design and implement AI agents to help team members generate reports, insights, and business assets more efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions.
- Support innovation initiatives focused on Microsoft Copilot, agentic AI, and emerging technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Status as a rising Junior or Senior for the upcoming academic term.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Understanding of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, and agentic AI.
- Interest in finance, accounting, sales operations, or business process improvement.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Location & details#
- This is a 12-week, full-time program for Summer 2027.
- The position is located on-site in Franklin, Tennessee.
- This role is paid.
