About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with enterprise systems, Linux environments, and deployment processes. You will report to a Systems Engineering Team Lead and work alongside engineers to maintain and improve internal infrastructure. Depending on business needs and your interests, you may explore areas like DevOps, system administration, cloud technologies, and automation.
What you'll do#
- Research, maintain, and support enterprise systems and technical workflows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and validate system enhancements.
- Monitor systems and assist with application deployment and configuration management.
- Write scripts and build automation to improve team efficiency.
- Document DevOps workflows and technical procedures.
- Perform quality testing on infrastructure and deployment tasks.
- Manage and prioritize tasks using team management tools like Confluence.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command line environments.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of Object Oriented concepts (Java preferred).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and source control systems.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, relational databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Locations: Lake Saint Louis, Missouri or Mandan, North Dakota.
- Schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with the option to work up to 5 days on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship position.
