About the role#
The Program Support Specialist Intern assists with daily operations across logistics, procurement, facilities, and technical support. This role is for someone who enjoys solving problems and staying organized. You will work with program leadership to support office functions and supply chain coordination.
What you'll do#
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain records of orders, deliveries, and asset assignments.
- Coordinate Visit Access Requests and badge requests for workspaces.
- Monitor office supply levels and restock items to prevent interruptions.
- Assist with onboarding by setting up workstations and hardware.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Support procurement by researching vendors and assisting with purchase requests.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of office spaces and meeting rooms to ensure functionality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate or Bachelor degree in a technology, operations, or business-related field.
- Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and collaboration tools.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time, 36 to 40 hours per week, up to a 6 month assignment.
- Schedule: Flexibility is available to accommodate academic commitments.
- Status: Paid internship.
