About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will work under the direction of the Director of Lean Processes to support the safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacture of products. This role focuses on the development and maintenance of production work instructions.
What you'll do#
- Develop work instructions using a standard format.
- Distribute completed instructions for approval and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Upload approved documentation to the internal system.
- Update existing work instructions based on engineering or process changes.
- Participate in team-based process improvement activities, including 5S, kaizen, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree program.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- No prior work experience is required.
