About the role#
The Year Round Intern supports the HR Shared Services Center team. This team acts as the first point of contact for all Human Resource needs at Navy Federal Credit Union. You will gain insight into business operations and procedures while applying your education in a professional environment. This is a year-round, full-time internship that requires you to be currently enrolled in college-level courses.
What you'll do#
- Maintain knowledge of HR services to answer or route employee inquiries regarding programs and procedures.
- Analyze basic issues and coordinate solutions.
- Support the completion of personnel actions in a deadline-driven environment.
- Assist with answering customer inquiries promptly.
- Run audits, research findings, and address discrepancies.
- Provide day-to-day operational support and assist with ad-hoc requests.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer service focus and relationship management skills.
- High learning agility and a growth mindset.
- Ability to work well within a team.

- Location: Pensacola, Florida.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
