About the role#
As a Technology Research Analyst Co-op student, you will join our Technology Research team to support various innovation initiatives. You will work alongside technology and business specialists to scan for new developments, evaluate potential solutions, and document findings to build organizational knowledge. This role is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, business analysis, and the implementation of new systems.
What you'll do#
- Research and evaluate the potential impacts and benefits of new technologies and business processes.
- Perform market research on commercial-off-the-shelf solutions.
- Document business needs and contribute to the design of future processes.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect feedback and gain insights that guide research direction.
- Create guidance materials and document your findings to share with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student in Innovation, Engineering, Digital Transformation, Data Science, or a related technical or business discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience with presentations and technical documentation.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous academic or work experience in technology implementation or business analysis is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Ottawa, Ontario.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
- The term runs for 8 months, spanning from January 2027 through August 31, 2027.
