    About the role#

    This internship takes place within the Technology branch at our head office in Ottawa. You will support our operations by managing financial data, improving internal processes, and assisting with special projects. This is a full-time position for the fall 2026 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Process invoices, including validation and record-keeping.
    • Assist with financial and contract administration, documentation, and reporting.
    • Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
    • Manage and analyze operational and financial data using office software.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a college or university program in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools, reporting software, or business intelligence platforms.
    • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or workflow mapping.
    • Experience or basic knowledge of AI tools and programming or scripting languages such as Python, VBA, or SQL.
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Term: September 30, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
    • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
    • Compensation: 18.15 to 30.20 dollars per hour, based on your level of study.
    • Language: English is essential.
