    About the role#

    The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is hiring a student for the Service Delivery department at our headquarters in Ottawa. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term, running from September 26, 2026, to December 31, 2026. You will work 25 hours per week in a hybrid environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify operational issues and trends, then propose solutions at the airport or national level.
    • Conduct research and analysis on operational matters to report findings and provide recommendations through briefings and formal documents.
    • Participate in the planning, development, and execution of national strategies to improve air security screening.
    • Collaborate with regional staff and project teams to support the implementation of screening operations and pilot projects.
    • Assist team members with daily tasks and contribute to cross-functional efforts to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a relevant college or university program, such as Business Administration, Economics, Operations Management, Communications, or Political Science.
    • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Excellent research and writing skills, paired with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks while working both independently and in a team.
    • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid).
    • Term: Fall 2026 (September 26 to December 31).
    • Salary: $18.15 to $30.20 per hour, based on your level of study.
    • Language requirement: English is essential.
